## Project
**Qingtian / RemoteOffice — Multimedia YouTube Online Search**

## Completed Today
- Verified `yt-dlp` on the IEI Server host.
- Verified YouTube search with `yt-dlp`.
- Created and integrated `app/youtube.py`.
- Registered the YouTube router in `app/main.py`.
- Diagnosed the difference between the host environment and the Docker container.
- Fixed the `yt-dlp not found` issue by installing `yt-dlp` inside the Docker image.
- Rebuilt and restarted the RemoteOffice service successfully.
- Verified:
  `GET /qingtian/youtube/search?q=You%20Raise%20Me%20Up`
- API successfully returned 10 YouTube search results.
- Confirmed the Qingtian Multimedia page displays:
  - thumbnails
  - video titles
  - channel names
  - Play YouTube buttons
- Improved the result display into a vertical scrollable list.

## Verified Working State
**YouTube online search is now working successfully inside Qingtian Multimedia.**

## Important Current Status
- Host-side `yt-dlp`: working.
- Docker-side `yt-dlp`: installed and working.
- FastAPI YouTube API: working.
- Front-end result display: working.
- RemoteOffice container: running after the successful rebuild.

## Next Step
1. Decide whether YouTube videos should continue opening in YouTube or play directly inside Qingtian Multimedia.
2. Improve playback UX if needed.
3. Fine-tune responsive result card layout.
4. Preserve the current working state before major playback changes.

## Not Yet Confirmed
- Direct embedded/in-app YouTube playback has not been implemented or confirmed.

## Daily Conclusion
**YouTube Search Phase 1 is complete and successfully demonstrated in the Qingtian Multimedia interface.**
